The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has launched a call for applications for joint research projects carried out by researchers from Poland and France under the PHC Polonium programme.
The programme is implemented in cooperation with French partners: the Ambassade de France en Pologne – Service de Coopération et d’Action Culturelle, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
What support is offered?
The aim of the call is to foster scientific cooperation between Poland and France by supporting the mobility of research teams carrying out joint projects.
The programme funds exclusively the mobility of research team members, covering travel and subsistence costs in the partner country. Projects must be jointly prepared and carried out by institutions from Poland and France.
Who can apply?
Applications may be submitted by higher education and research institutions from Poland, in cooperation with a partner institution from France. Proposals must be submitted in parallel by both partners – to NAWA in Poland and via Campus France on the French side.
Key information
- funding covers mobility of research teams (travel and subsistence),
- maximum funding per project: up to PLN 40,000,
- in this edition, the funding level has been increased and project implementation rules have been simplified,
- priority will be given to projects aligned with the objectives of the Treaty on enhanced cooperation and friendship between the Republic of Poland and the French Republic.
Timeline
The call for applications is open until 30 June 2026, 3:00 PM (local time in Poland).
Project implementation is planned for 2027–2028.
