What I liked most was to hang out with people from all over the world, enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Poland and mouthwatering Polish food and also experience the Polish culture.
Yankai from China
I did like most the lively teaching and the good teachers like Ola and some others. I liked also very much the dance and travelling like the travelling to Krakow and Auschwitz and Birkenau, Katowice and Wadowice. I did that with my friends from Argentina. I appreciated a lot the hospitality of the Polish people, the teachers and all the staff at the dormitory and canteen. I got to know many good students that I hope I can keep in contact with. I like also very much the way you made our last days , the papers and how all the teachers greeted us. It was lovely. Thank you so much. Dziękuję bardzo.
Katrin from Iceland
I liked everything: the teachers, the teaching materials, and the university itself. Everyone was helpful and helped create a great atmosphere suitable for learning (especially for someone who knew no Polish prior to attending this programme). In addition, the trips and cultural activities helped immerse us further in the culture and fall in love with the country. We also got to meet new people from various countries who were eager to learn Polish. The food was also tasty.
Maroua from Tunisia
What I liked most was to meet students from around the world and the atmosphere in the classes which were a good mix of getting to know Polish culture and practicing language. I also enjoyed the friendly relationship between teachers and students, and how both were integrated well with each other.

I think that the element I enjoyed the most was the pairing of the roommates. I know that this might seem like a superficial thing, but it was so nice to be paired up with someone with a Polish-American background like me. I do not have many friends like this back home and it was so nice to finally be really understood in this regard. We had very fulfilling intellectual conversations about our growing up and how that experience impacts us now. We also bonded a lot over our studies and how we hope to incorporate our Polish-American identity into our future studies.
Eva from the USA
What I liked most were the people, the classes and the trips.

I loved everything about the course - especially the wonderful atmosphere and the wide array of activities we were offered. I loved that we were offered yoga, the teacher is wonderful and the activity really helped with feeling more refreshed. Our guide, pan Paweł Sowa was also amazing at his job - I attended the tours in polish with him and he was excellent at speaking in a way we could all understand him and I found everything very interesting. My course teacher, pani Karolina Galewska was also one of the highlights of the course, as she is a great teacher that makes her lectures interesting, interactive and effective. The atmosphere in the class was amazing and I feel like we all connected really well thanks to our wonderful teacher. The meals, especially breakfasts were also a highlight - the breakfast options were wide and the staff was very nice and adaptable. I loved that we had workshops available and I think they resulted in a wonderful preformance at the end of the summer school (especially the teathre workshop). Overall, all the teachers and course organisers were great - pani Ewa Wegrzak was always available for help and information. Overall, I loved the course very much.

I loved the creative ways of learning about Poles and Polish culture during classes (learning some slang, learning about popular hotspots, etc.) I am grateful for an amazing group and an amazing atmosphere provided by my colleagues and the professor. Outings and field trips proved to be a great source of connecting with and befriending other students. We sang a lot during classes (and went to karaoke a bunch of times) which is a great way to practice speaking Polish in my opinion.
Karla from Croatia
It is hard to say what I like most, because I loved pretty much everything. If I had to choose one thing though, it would probably be the sightseeing days. I had so much fun getting to know Wrocław, it was amazing. Also the teachers, pilots and also students I got to meet. My favorite place we visited is the Botanical Garden (one of the prettiest places I've ever been to). I do wish it would last longer, I really like it here.

What I liked most in the course was grama taught by my excellent teacher Anna
Inho from South Korea
I think this course is remarkable. I am embarrassed to say I knew very little about Poland or the language before coming here. Now I admire so much about this beautiful country. The administrators of the course have been instrumental in helping me connect with Polish teachers in my field of music so that I can continue my research. I’ve already arranged to continue my language study with a tutor when I return to the US. Wrocław is an amazing city and I look forward to returning. Asia was a wonderful, patient and encouraging teacher. If fostering an appreciation and respect for Poland and the language are the primary goals of this program, then, at least with me, you surpassed expectations. Dziękuję bardzo!!
Scott from the USA
What I liked most was the teachers' kindness and seemingly endless energy, the good atmosphere, the excellent meals and of course the city of Wroclaw
Yoan from Bulgaria
Every detail was planned and comfortable.

Pat from Wales, a student – participant of the on-site course organized by the Wrocław University, July 9-29th 2023
[What I liked most] is that it is super international and people are from different parts of the world. By being in Poland I deepened my knowledge about polish culture, customs and history moreover I found out a lot about others countries thanks to the culture evening and just communicating with other’s participants. The only thing I did not like is that the course finally came to its end.
Everything was organised very well, teachers were extremely nice and explained everything and what is important always asked if we understand everything. Organisation of the lessons also was great, we had all parts that are required to learn polish (listening, writing, speaking, reading). Accommodation is also great. I really liked the programme of the course, that in 3 weeks we had the opportunity to visit all museums and some interesting places in Wroclaw. Also I would like to thank our pilots, who took care of us.
