Department for Academic Recognition (Apostille and authentication | Recognition)
In response to multiple inquiries concerning the applications for the NAWA's Director individual recognition statement we provide the following information:
- The telephone duty will be unavailable until further notice.
- The answers to most of the questions can be found:
o in the „RECOGNITION” section https://nawa.gov.pl/en/recognition
o in the FAQ – frequently asked questions section https://nawa.gov.pl/en/recognition/recognition-for-academic-purposes/faq-frequently-asked-questions
- Before submitting an application for the NAWA's Director individual recognition statement, it is required to read the instructions given in the SYRENA User Manual. The manuals can be found in the How to obtain a recognition statement section, respectively for a diploma of higher education or a secondary education certificate.
- The status of the application submitted via the SYRENA System can be checked independently in the system - for an explanation of the statuses, refer to the user manual.
- If the application is incomplete, the request to send the missing documents will be sent via the SYRENA System to the e-mail address provided in the application.
- If the NAWA's Director individual recognition statement is ready, the notification will be sent via the SYRENA System to the e-mail address provided in the application.
- The applications are processed as quickly as possible - there is no fast track procedure for issuing the individual recognition statement. After submitting the application correctly, check your email regularly and wait for notifications sent via the SYRENA System.
- It is the applicant that is responsible for the correct submission of the application and for attaching all required documents.
Due to the large amount of applications for NAWA’s Director individual recognition statements, the time of processing requests may be prolonged and exceed the period of 60 days. Please, be patient.
