The SPINAKER Programme supports Polish universities and research institutions in developing and delivering Intensive International Educational Programmes (IIEPs) conducted in foreign languages.
These short, high-quality learning formats – such as summer and winter schools, specialist courses, trainings or study visits – strengthen the international visibility of Polish higher education and attract students, doctoral candidates and academic staff from around the world.
Who is the programme for?
SPINAKER is intended for:
- students, doctoral candidates and staff from foreign universities and research institutions,
- participants from the applying institution who wish to enhance their competencies through short, intensive learning experiences in Poland.
Who can apply?
Applications may be submitted by Polish universities and research institutions that provide education at the level of:
- degree programmes,
- postgraduate studies,
- doctoral schools.
What does the programme support?
SPINAKER funds the creation or adaptation of international intensive programmes consisting of 20 to 150 teaching hours, delivered in a language other than Polish and aimed primarily at international participants.
Supported activities include:
- summer or winter schools,
- specialist courses,
- professional trainings,
- study visits,
- involvement of international professors or experts.
Programmes may be implemented on site, online, or in a blended format, giving institutions flexibility to design innovative and engaging educational experiences.
